How to use this calendar: sector first, month second, flights last
The Philippines runs roughly twenty trade shows a year that matter to foreign suppliers and buyers, almost all of them in four halls in Metro Manila, and the calendar is lopsided: March to June and July to October are the two peaks, while January and December are quiet. Use it in three steps — identify the one or two shows for your sector, see which month they fall in, then build factory visits and channel calls around the same trip.
Three rules before the tables.
- Dates come from the organizers. Every 2026 date below was checked against organizer websites and public announcements in September 2026. Philippine shows move more often than people expect: PhilConstruct Manila historically ran in November and shifted to June for 2026. Re-check before booking space or flights.
- Know whether a show is trade or public. Vehicle shows, the franchise expo and some food shows draw heavy consumer traffic, which is useful for reading the market. Procurement shows are quieter but have a far higher density of decision-makers.
- Visit before you exhibit. Booking a booth with no local customer base is the most common waste. The dividing line is set out in the second-to-last section below.
January to June: construction, vehicles, franchising and food export
The first half concentrates between March and June, when construction, automotive, franchising and food effectively fill the calendar. Dates below are the actual 2026 editions.
| Month | Show | City and venue | Organizer | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| January | Philippine Pharma and Healthcare Expo, January 28-30 | Pasay, SMX Convention Center Manila | Mesa Expo (mesaexpo.com) | Pharmaceutical, medical consumables and wellness supply chains |
| March | WorldBex, March 12-15; 2027 set for March 11-14 | Pasay, WTC Metro Manila and SMX Manila | Worldbex Services International | Building materials, interiors, landscaping, furniture and fixtures; heavy consumer and designer traffic |
| March | InsideRACING Bike Festival, March 20-22, 20th year | Pasay, WTC Metro Manila | InsideRACING | Motorcycle aftermarket, gear, lubricants, performance parts |
| April | MIAS Manila International Auto Show, April 9-12, 21st edition | Pasay, WTC Metro Manila and PTTC | Worldbex Services International | Reading vehicle brands and consumer preference; meeting dealers |
| April | PhilConstruct Clark, April 23-25 | Clark Freeport | Philippine Constructors Association with Global-Link MP Events | Machinery, materials and MEP suppliers following Central Luzon projects |
| April | Franchise Asia Philippines, conference April 23, expo April 24-26 | Pasay, SMX Convention Center Manila | Philippine Franchise Association | Prospective franchisees; brands seeking a master franchisee |
| May | IFEX Philippines, May 21-23, 19th edition; 2027 set for May 20-22 | Pasay, WTC Metro Manila | CITEM, under the Department of Trade and Industry | Buyers sourcing Philippine food products; food exporters |
| June | PIMS Philippine International Motor Show, June 4-7, 10th edition, biennial | Pasay, WTC Metro Manila | CAMPI, the manufacturers association | Reaching OEMs and the association network; tracking electrification |
| June | MAFBEX Manila Foods and Beverages Expo, June 10-14 | Pasay, WTC Metro Manila | Worldbex Services International | Food and drink, kitchen equipment, food franchising; high footfall |
| June | PhilConstruct Manila, June 25-28 | Metro Manila | PCA with Global-Link MP Events | Contractor and developer procurement; the most project-driven show |
The pairing to understand in the first half is WorldBex in March against PhilConstruct Manila in June: same market, very different audiences — compared in the WorldBex guide and the PhilConstruct four-leg guide. In food, IFEX in May is export-oriented while MAFBEX in June serves domestic demand, so their uses are opposite — see the IFEX Philippines guide.
July to December: manufacturing, food, retail, medical and home
The second half is dense from July through October across manufacturing and consumer retail, and thins out after November apart from PhilConstruct Cebu.
| Month | Show | City and venue | Organizer | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| July | APV Expo plus Philippines Bus and Truck plus the 12th PDMEX, together Philippine Manufacturing Week, July 23-25 | Pasay, WTC Metro Manila | Informa Markets Philippines | Auto and motorcycle parts, commercial vehicle components, tooling and manufacturing equipment; strictly trade |
| July-August | WOFEX World Food Expo, July 29 to August 1 | Pasay, WTC Manila and SMX Manila | PEP Group | Food and beverage, catering equipment, hotel and restaurant supply |
| August | NRCE National Retail Conference and Expo, August 6-7, 32nd edition | Pasay, SMX Convention Center Manila | Philippine Retailers Association | Retail chains, channel solutions, retail technology; conference-weighted |
| August | PhilMedical Expo, August 19-21, 9th edition | Pasay, SMX Convention Center Manila | Fireworks Trade Exhibitions and Conferences Philippines | Medical devices, dental, diagnostics, eldercare technology |
| September | PhilConstruct Davao, September 3-5 | Davao City | PCA with Global-Link MP Events | Mindanao construction and materials demand |
| October | PackPrintPlas Philippines, October 8-10, 32nd edition | Pasay, SMX Convention Center Manila | Global-Link MP Messe Dusseldorf Asia | Packaging, printing, plastics machinery and consumables |
| October | Manila FAME, October 15-17, 74th edition | Pasay, WTC Metro Manila | CITEM | Buyers sourcing Philippine home, furniture, fashion and craft products |
| November | PhilConstruct Cebu, November 26-28 | Cebu City | PCA with Global-Link MP Events | Visayas construction and materials |
Two efficient combinations sit in the second half. Philippine Manufacturing Week in July puts auto parts, commercial vehicle and tooling buyers under one roof, so a machinery or components supplier can make this the only trip of the year — show selection logic is in choosing between the Philippine auto parts and motorcycle shows. And PackPrintPlas sits one week before Manila FAME in October, so a packaging supplier can also read the packaging needs of home-goods exporters — see the Manila FAME buyer guide.
By sector: go straight to your show
If you already know your sector, use this lookup instead of reading the whole calendar.
| Sector | First choice (month) | Alternative or supplement | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Building materials, hardware, sanitary ware, doors and windows | WorldBex (March) | PhilConstruct, four legs (April, June, September, November) | WorldBex skews retail and design; PhilConstruct skews project procurement |
| Construction machinery, MEP, security systems | PhilConstruct Manila (June) | Clark, Davao and Cebu legs chosen by project map | Machinery exhibits need a longer customs runway than ordinary goods |
| Auto parts, motorcycle parts, commercial vehicle components | APV Expo (July) | MIAS (April), PIMS (June), Bike Festival (March) for market reading | Only APV Expo justifies a booth |
| Sourcing Philippine food products | IFEX (May) | Manila FAME (October) for gift packs and packaging | IFEX is an export show with an organizer buyer programme |
| Selling food and beverage or catering equipment domestically | MAFBEX (June) | WOFEX (July-August) | Both serve domestic demand; WOFEX leans hotel and restaurant supply |
| Sourcing home, furniture, lighting and craft | Manila FAME (October) | Cebu shows and factory visits | More than half the exhibitors manufacture around Mandaue, Cebu |
| Packaging, printing, plastics machinery | PackPrintPlas (October) | WOFEX and Manila FAME to read downstream demand | Downstream customers are worth more of your time than peers |
| Medical devices, consumables, dental | PhilMedical Expo (August) | Pharma and Healthcare Expo (January) | FDA product registration comes before market access |
| Retail chains, channel and store solutions | NRCE (August) | Franchise Asia (April) | NRCE is conference-heavy and good for reaching chain decision-makers |
| Franchising and food service brands | Franchise Asia (April) | Franchise zone at MAFBEX (June) | Booths are recruitment desks; compare with one fixed question set |
For franchising, the show is only the entry point; how to negotiate terms in a country with no dedicated franchise statute is covered in the Franchise Asia Philippines guide.
Four halls, one neighbourhood
One fact makes trip planning much easier: nearly every major Philippine trade show happens in Pasay City around the SM Mall of Asia complex, within a few kilometres of each other, so a single hotel covers everything running that week.
| Venue | Location | Regular shows | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| World Trade Center Metro Manila | Pasay, at Gil Puyat Avenue and Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard | WorldBex, MIAS, PIMS, MAFBEX, IFEX, Manila FAME, APV Expo, Bike Festival | The most heavily used hall |
| SMX Convention Center Manila | Pasay, Mall of Asia Complex, Seashell Lane | Franchise Asia, NRCE, PhilMedical, PackPrintPlas, WorldBex overflow | About 1-2 km from WTCMM |
| Philippine International Convention Center | Pasay, Cultural Center complex | Large conferences, government events, summits needing interpretation | Meeting rooms carry simultaneous interpretation systems supporting 2 to 7 languages |
| Philippine Trade Training Center | Pasay, adjacent to WTCMM | Overflow halls for large shows such as MIAS | Typically used as an extension venue |
Three practical points. Stay near Mall of Asia and all four halls are a walk or a ten-minute ride away. NAIA to this area takes 20-40 minutes off-peak and roughly double at peak. And when show days fall on a weekend, mall-area traffic slows noticeably, so build buffer into early meetings. Summits and annual meetings that need interpretation carry an extra check: booth provision and a clean audio feed, settled before the venue contract is signed.
Planning the year: separate the visiting year from the exhibiting year
Split the first two years of market entry into a visiting year and an exhibiting year rather than booking a booth immediately.
Year one, visiting. Two trips only. The first covers your primary sector show, three days on the floor plus two days of channel or factory visits. The second covers the alternative show and tests the conclusions from the first. Three deliverables: a list of 30-50 local companies sorted into importer, distributor and end user; competitor price bands; and a written recommendation on whether to exhibit.
Year two, exhibiting. Book one show only, working back six months: D-180 space and exhibit list, D-120 customs route for exhibits, D-90 stand contractor, D-60 English documentation and certificates, D-30 buyer invitations, D-7 exhibits on the ground. Keep one pure visiting trip in the year for the show you are not exhibiting at.
Year three onwards. Settle on one show to exhibit at and one to visit, and stabilise the budget. This is a relationship-driven market, and three consecutive editions of one show usually outperforms three different shows in three years.
Trip logistics, districts and expense documentation are covered in the related articles listed at the end.
Booking a booth in year one means paying booth money for a judgement you have not tested — until you hold the local company list, the competitor price bands and a written verdict on exhibiting, you cannot tell an importer at your stand from a competitor. Where the line sits: when a booth makes sense
There is one test: do you already have one or two real customers or a distributor in the Philippines? If yes, a booth can be justified. If no, visit first.
The reason is conversion, not cost. A booth produces inquiries, and inquiries need local follow-up to become orders. Without someone on the ground, the cards collected over three days go cold within two weeks. Visiting has a different goal — building a list and forming a judgement — and one person can do it alone.
If you do exhibit, four workstreams run in parallel: booth (shell scheme or raw space), exhibits (ATA Carnet, temporary importation against a bond, or formal import), people (entry and status), and follow-up (an English summary within 72 hours). The one that most often fails is exhibit customs rather than the booth. The Philippines has accepted ATA Carnets since July 15, 2024, giving temporary admission and re-export a standard route, but consumables, giveaways and samples sold on site still require formal importation with duty paid. Full mechanics are in exhibiting at a Philippine trade show.
Why dates move, and how to verify them yourself
Philippine show dates shift more often than most planners expect, for three reasons: venue calendar conflicts with large events, deliberate seasonal repositioning by organizers, and disruption during the typhoon season from roughly June to October. Use this calendar for sector and month, and the organizer site for the exact dates.
Verify in this order.
- Organizer website first. The home page and the exhibit page update earliest. For association-run shows, also check the association site — PCA, CAMPI, PFA, PRA.
- Venue calendars second. SMX and PICC publish event schedules that cross-check well.
- Organizer social media third. Philippine organizers often post updates on Facebook before the website changes.
- Re-check 30 days before booking flights, particularly for biennial shows such as PIMS in even years and for shows that recently moved, such as PhilConstruct Manila shifting from November to June in 2026.
All 2026 dates listed here were checked against organizer websites and public announcements in September 2026; 2027 dates follow the organizers except where already published.
