Enter your authorised-stay date and visa status to get the days overstayed, chargeable months and approval level, plus a separate ECC verdict. The ECC is where most people slip: a stay of 6 months or more, or a visa that has expired or been downgraded — either one is enough to trigger it.

The 60 BI offices differ widely in what they can finish, and “receiving” is not the same as “processing” — plenty of transactions are lodged at a branch and approved back in Manila. Search by transaction or by office; every row cites its page in the source.

Rates & rules

BI Citizens Charter, 2026 1st Edition

The checker applies the current rates and approval levels. An older fee table still circulating online was last updated in 2014 and no longer matches; the tool does not use it.

Office directory

BI Updated Subport Directory with Directory of Transactions

The only version linked from the BI website (a 75-page PDF). The document carries no version date; data retrieved 2026-09-04. Office scopes change, so call ahead before you travel.

Both tools give an estimate and a first read only. What you actually pay is whatever the order of payment at the counter says. Long overstays, blacklist entries and pending cases need professional advice.
